This thing isn't marketed as a mouse pad; it's marketed "gaming mousing surface." Pads are for sissies. It's all about crazy "mousing" surfaces when it comes to people who expect nothing less than the best for their fragging duties and adventures. Sifting around their site, you'll also find the Destructor referred to as a professional gaming mat. This should indicate to you that they mean business.
Professional Input, Professional Result
You know how some products are designed by a bunch of guys in suits? These guys are so out of touch with reality that they create a myriad of items that no one really wants. They hype up features that are of no use to consumer, while missing out on other features that the public has been demanding for ages. Such is not the case with Razer, specifically with this mouse pad. Er, "gaming surface."

These professional gamers know exactly what they want and need to excel in their e-sport, so they provide this constant feedback to the Razer engineers who, in turn, produced the Destructor.
